Reprimand:
Ah-ah
Use case would be if he starts chewing on your sock or something. He's never done that but you get the idea.
Lifestyle:
Kennel
Typically used when you're going to bed or leaving the house.
Walk
Careful when you say this, he might get pretty hyped.
Food Time
I just say this so he knows to go to his bowl but you don't have to, he'll catch on.
Bumi eats twice a day, a full scoop of the provided cup per serving. Not heaping scoops though, just right at the line.
Breakfast around 8am or whenever you wake up.
Dinner as close to 7pm as you can. If he's eyeballing you around this time, this is why.
You're welcome to give him a raw egg with dinner but it's not required.
We tell Bumi to sit and stay while we get his food in the bowl. When we're done, we say "Go for it" so he knows he can eat it now.
We generally don't give him "people" food.
We like to take Bumi for a walk once a day; no big deal if you miss a day though. Our walks are generally <1 mile but he can keep if you want to go longer.
We highly recommend using the prong collar any time he is put on a leash. It's familiar and often keeps him better behaved.
Don't leave the prong collar on when you get home. Dogs should only wear them for less than 2 hours at a time.
It's best not to let him interact with other dogs. Bumi does generally fine with other dogs but some have snapped on him before so it's not really worth the risk.
This is what we allow for Bumi in our house but if he's staying at your place, you call the shots!
Bumi is allowed on all furniture except the bed we sleep on. If he is invited, he can come up. He is allowed to sleep in the bed with you if you'd prefer.
Overnight, we put Bumi in his kennel. If you choose to do the same, be sure it's the last thing you do before going to bed.
If he's kenneled up and hears you up and about, he'll want to come hang out with you and start making whiney noises lol.
Bumi really likes his kennel, seems like his safe space.
If Bumi is barking too much (from seeing too many people on the sidewalk for example), we do have a bark collar. It vibrates after hearing 2+ barks. Just turn it on and put it around his neck with the box part on the bottom.
